What is the Enhanced Basement Flooding Program?
Flooding can happen when you least expect it. Halton Region has invested substantially in optimising the wastewater sewer system throughout the region. The Enhanced Basement Flooding Prevention Subsidy Program makes it easier and more affordable for residents to undertake home improvements that can help reduce the risk of flooding.
The subsidy can help prevent flooding by covering costs incurred for materials and invoiced contractor labour charged for the following services:
What’s Next?
- Download the application form and waiver form from the Halton Region website.
- Submit the completed Application Form and Waiver along with the required documentation.
- Contact us to request a consultation on the work that needs to be done (tell us you’re applying for the subsidy)
- Once the work is done, complete the Halton Hills Basement Flooding Prevention Subsidy application form, waiver and all the required documentation required to the address provided.
